(Junior) Inbound Sales Manager in Chemical Distribution (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities:
- As part of our sales team in Hamburg, you qualify and manage incoming supplier and customer requests for our international business in distribution of chemical raw materials
- Thereby, you forward interesting supplier requests to our colleagues responsible for supplier development
- Based on your experiences, you develop further responsibilities in customer request management from qualifying requests, offer creation, managing sampling and product exports, to building up long-term collaborations with customers and developing them further
- This includes the conduction of calculations as well as offer creations and negotiations in written or verbal form
- Based on your own evaluations as well as feedback from our sales and business development colleagues, you will work closely with our marketing team to improve our CRM tool (HubSpot), streamline processes and drive automation
- You support your team with further tasks and projects, e.g. in sparring with our marketing team creating sales specific adaptions of and trainings for our CRM tool
Your profile:
- You successfully finished your commercial education as an industrial, freight forwarding or foreign trade clerk (“Industriekaufmann”, “Speditionskaufmann” or “Außenhandelskaufmann”) and are familiar with Incoterms
- Furthermore, you gained experiences in sales creating calculations, conducting sales calls and negotiations
- Experience in cost and offer calculations, affinity for taxes in international trading or export modalities are beneficial
- You are eager to learn, question the status quo and search for new ways for improvement
- Thereby, you possess digital affinity and project management skills – ideally, you already used a Customer Relationship Management or Lead Management System like HubSpot
- You are a strong communicator in written and spoken English as well as German with the ability to communicate technical sales workflows and content to an international team in a target group-oriented manner
- Additionally, your friendly, attentive and self-confident demeanor convinces us
