Logistics and Transportation Specialist (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Your main responsibility is managing logistics tasks related to procurement and customer orders in close cooperation with sales representatives and customer service colleagues
• Maintaining communication with logistics service providers
• This includes developing and improving logistics operations and processes
• Requesting, analyzing, and evaluating transport quotes
• Issuing transport orders and tracking their execution
• Carrying out related administrative tasks
• Recording transactions in the internal enterprise system
• Preparing reports and analyses related to logistics activities
• Additionally checking and approving incoming freight invoices
• Supporting task sharing within the team and providing backup as needed
• Actively participating in process optimization initiatives

Your profile:

• After finishing your secondary or higher education, you gained previous professional experience in an administrative or comparable position, preferably in chemical industry, distribution or logistics
• Your working style is reliable, precise as well as service and goal oriented
• Furthermore, you possess strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and find short-term solutions if needed
• You are a team player with an open, proactive and friendly personality
• Additionally, you possess very well networking and communication skills in Hungarian and English (written and verbal)
• Furthermore, you are proficient in the use of MS Office products and ideally you are familiar with ERP or warehouse systems
