Sales Manager for Food Ingredients (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities:
- You are developing and maintaining our business in distribution of chemical raw materials related to our food product segment in Germany and Western Europe
- Thereby, you are expanding and managing our supplier as well as client relationships both commercially and technically through regular contact (including national as well as international travels)
- By identifying new markets and monitoring market developments, you identify new and promising raw materials and products as well as sales opportunities
- Based on your analysis, you set targets for new business development, implement strategies for profitable sales growth and extend our product portfolio
- Additionally, you create detailed market overviews and customer databases
- By constantly questioning the status quo and bringing in new perspectives, you will help us to constantly develop our business further
- You will also collaborate with your sales colleagues located in Central and Eastern Europe to further develop our business and our product portfolio jointly
Your profile:
- You have an university education with a focus on chemistry, food or sales, alternatively a commercial education with technical capabilities
- In addition, you have gained experiences in wholesale and foreign trade of chemical raw materials, preferably related to the food segment (e.g., sweeteners)
- Furthermore, you are characterized by a strong customer and solution orientation as well as a high degree of initiative, reliability and commitment through which you build strong, trustful stakeholder relationships
- Preferably, you have an analytical, entrepreneurial, structured and independent working style
- Additionally, you are a strong communicator in written and verbal German as well as English with profound negotiation abilities
- You hold a category B driving license and are able to travel regularly in Germany and Western Europe - sometimes also further abroad
