(Senior) Logistics Manager (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

• As a part of our logistics team, you have a central role in the daily operations of our company, providing an excellent customer service by independently managing the accurate, timely, and seamless end-to-end delivery of food ingredients and chemical raw materials as well as related information

• Thereby, you work closely with our sales colleagues by taking over administrative sales tasks and independently managing the finalized offers until the goods are delivered from our international suppliers to our international clients

• This includes the conduction of price calculations for transportation of each offer considering e.g., the packaging costs and the transportation type (like sea and road), the samplings, the documentation of deliveries

• You take over the product clearance as well as the organization of the product’s timely delivery to our warehouse or the client directly, depending on the respective agreement

• Therefore, you frequently communicate with our external business partners (e.g., transportation companies, warehouses) and keep the responsible salesperson updated on any deviations from previously agreed actions

• In case of client complaints, you find adequate solutions together with the responsible salesperson

• Furthermore, you support or take over additional tasks such as the optimization and digitalization of our processes as well as the maintenance of our supplier, client, and product master data

Your profile:

• After successfully completing your commercial education, you gained at least 2 years of professional experience in logistics, preferably with road or sea transportation

• Thereby, you handled import or export operations gaining sensitivity for national as well as international regulations and compliance aspects such as Incoterms, sanction lists and ISO regulations including their handling

• You are a great team player characterized by your reliability, proactivity, hands on mentality as well as a structured and independent working style

• Based on your great self-organization and prioritization skills you always keep track of your open tasks and related deadlines

• You are a strong communicator in written and verbal German as well as English with profound negotiation abilities
