Product Manager for Food Ingredients (f/m/d)
Your responsibilities:
In this role, you manage and develop our international key accounts (clients, suppliers and distributors) through regular contact incl. visits
You take full responsibility for the development, sourcing, and commercialization of food ingredients
Therefore, you continuously monitor and analyze target groups, customer needs, competitor activities, benchmark products, and market trends
Based on your analysis, you identify and drive new business opportunities as well as strategic partnerships
You coordinate internal resources, capacities, and cost structures in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
Additionally, you negotiate and prepare commercial offers as well as contracts driving sales and profitability planning
You take over further tasks such as the creation of reports
Your profile:
You successfully finished your commercial education or university degree with a focus on international sales, wholesale, business administration or comparable
Furthermore, you gained at least 3 years of experience in international trading of food ingredients (e.g., in purchasing, sales, distribution, supplier management or customer service)
You demonstrate a strong commercial mindset with a focus on sales and business development
Additionally, you possess a high level of self-management combined with an analytical, structured, and goal-oriented way of working
As a great team player, you are characterized by your reliability, proactivity, hands on mentality
Your target group-oriented approach and your strong intercultural competencies convince us
In addition, you are willing and flexible for international business travels
You demonstrate very good communication and negotiation skills in both German and English
