Purchase Specialist - Chemical Distribution (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Managing and developing supplier relations, request from the supplier all the documents necessary for the commercial relationship (proforma, invoice, technical sheet, analysis report, etc.)
• Managing the relationship with the state authorities and additional partners regarding the import of goods
• Recording orders to suppliers, entries (NIRs), goods invoices and other additional invoices and prepares additional documents necessary for the import of goods
• Correct maintenance of stock records, updating the database and archiving documents
• Daily checking of WMS reports to identify possible differences between notices/NIRs and what is physically delivered/received from/in the warehouse
• Reporting the activities carried out and providing support in the construction of the weekly/monthly/annual reports of the department of which it is a part
• Handling claims regarding damage of goods during the transport or at the reception
• Maintaining and developing horizontal and vertical professional relationships with all departments
• Providing support to colleagues from the sales department in their daily activities

Your profile:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchase of chemical raw materials (intra/extra EU)
• Good understanding of an ERP system, TRACES, TARIC, and other supplier platforms
• People oriented, as well as competences to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships
• Good communication skills and the ability to negotiate prices
• Good organization skills, oriented to find solutions for any challenges
• Good level of knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
• Fluency in both written and spoken English as well as Romanian
